2011 Ticket Renewal Program
Whereas in the past, only select sections at LP Field were “renewable,” we’re making it so that EVERY LP Field seat can be renewed for future years! Ticket renewals for the 2011 CMA Music Festival will be available for ALL 2010 four-day ticket holders. Renewal forms will be e-mailed in July 2010, and all 2010 four-day ticket holders will have an exclusive window to renew their seats for 2011 before the nationwide on-sale later this summer. By the way, there will be an option to “upgrade” your seats. This means that if you don’t want your same seat again, there will be an opportunity to choose different seats. (Upgrade option details will be in the July e-mail.)
This really is an effort to help fans enjoy the Festival. No more waiting in line during the Fest! You get to go enjoy all the Fest activities while here and worry about next year after you have an AWESOME 2010 experience! WOOHOO!
Be sure your e-mail address is current with the Box Office. Call 1-800-CMA-FEST (262-3378).
(The 2011 Ticket Renewal program does not apply if you order from a tour group. See your tour operator for its specific policy.)

Awesome. Love the upgrade feature!
I booked throught Road Trip Traveler. I paid $2608.00 which includes hotel (DoubleTree Downtown) tickets for the cma fest, handicap parking permit at Lp Field and soft ball game.
This trip was for 4 people. Yesterday I received an email from them saying they have filed a solvency. They said we would receive our tickets but we would not have our hotel rooms. Needless to say I went into a panic. I did find us a hotel in Hermitage but this is not what we wanted or paid for. This was an additional expense that we were not prepared for. Now I am not sure we will be able to stay til Sunday. Their is also others who are having the same promblems. If anyone has any insight on this please let me know.
YOU know if this was because of the flood I would understand. But they outright lied to me.
They said they had a block of rooms at the Hotel but they did not do business with that hotel. I talked to Double Tree and of course there was no hotel room for us. RTT did have that hotel room on their website to choose from.’
Hi Peggy- Thank you for this notification. This is the first I’m learning of the issue. Will you please forward me a copy of your email from RTT? Please send to marketing@cmaworld.com. I will investigate further. In the meantime I am thankful you were able to find alternate lodging. Hermitage isn’t far from Downtown. So while I know it’s not what you had hoped and paid for, I hope it’s not too much of a hindrance during your trip. Thanks, Peggy.

FYI peggy, if you get a hotel maybe 1 mile up highway from lp field and reserve like in july or end of june, you can get rates for like 49 a nite. the rooms are not bad and usually only sleeping there. they even have the continental breakfast..
I also booked with road trip traverler and lost my hotel rooms, they said they would send our tickets to the hotel we would be staying at so I had to make calls and finally after another 1200.00 found rooms, they said tickets would be there tuesday june 8 and mine didn’t come until wednesday night at 10 PM and by that time I purchased 2 more 4-day pass for another $350.00 so I am out tons and tons of money this year!!! won’t book again with any traveler, I will just do it ALL ON MY OWN
so, i haven’t read the faq’s, does this mean tickets for next year are not gonna be on sale during the fest this year? and what are the odds of being able to upgrade our tickets for this year once we arrive?
That’s correct. 2011 tickets are not on sale until later this summer.
Having the same problem as Peggy still looking for motel and worried about transportation.
Couldn’t make the Fest this year like in the past – but do want info for purchasing tix for 2011. Thanks for letting me know what date that will be…
I’m quite sad that things have changed, as far as ticket sales go this year. I haven’t been able to go to the Fest before due to Master’s classes and such and now I’m sad about this whole ticket thing. How will any of us be able to get decent seats if everyone else gets to renew before we even have a chance to buy them? I’m sooooooo not happy right now. When will the rest of us get to see what seats are left over? When you are able, please let me know a specific date for ticket on-sale time. Thank you
we purchased our tickets through the gaylord….will we still have the pre sale option for next year?
For 2010 I had 2 club seats sec 214 row L seat 21 and 22 I would like to book three seats in the club level for 2011
Ideally in Section 214 in the front row and on the end of the aisle…I will go out of section 214 to get this request if I have to
Great time in 2010 hope to be there in 2011
please let me know the dates for cma fest for 2011 and when we can buy them. wasn’t able to attend on 2010. thanks marcia
Hey Marcia- Renewals for 2011 will take place in July. The national on-sale will be after that in either late July or in the month of August. We’ll keep everybody posted. Please stay tuned to CMAfest.com, and we hope to see you June 9-12, 2011!
trying to find a way to get back into the original gold circle. We had Sect. C row 11 and lost them this year when our agent decided not to participate due to changes CMA made. Is there a way to get back to where we were? any suggestions?
This is my third CMA Fest. This year, Riverfront would not let me in with my camera. They told me that my lens was too big. It was a canon 100-400 mm. There were lots of other lenses inside the venue that were the same size but they wouldn’t let me in with mine. This has not been the policy in past years. It would be helpful if this information was available before a one mile walk from the parking lot to Riverfront and then another mile walk back to lock up my camera. When I asked the supervisor about this rule, she stated, “They don’t want professional photo’s taken at the venue. They told me the rules before letting people in and I am enforcing them.” I asked why other camera’s with the same lens as mine were inside she stated, “They must have gone through another entrance.” Okay, so what was the truth now that the festival is over and what is going to be the rule next year?
Hi Keith. Sorry you had a hard time at Riverfront. That is true that “professional” cameras are not allowed in any venues during Music Festival. The official info is here: Allowed/Prohibited Items
It’s tough though to make sure that every entry point enforces the rule in the exact same way. We realize that there are some complaints and not-so-good feedback out there. We appreciate that and are discussing situations like this one to make sure we improve it for next year.
Regarding the cameras/lenses: I think that the venues need to be consistent throughout the event. Amateurs are now carrying the same cameras that professionals are. Amateurs can buy any of the lenses that a professional can. Just because they have the equipment does not mean they are a professional any more than having a top of the line oven makes you a pastry chef. The festival coordinators need to realize that. Also, realize that changing the rules mid event is more than an inconvenience. To think that I would turn around and lock 5k worth of equipment in a vehicle at the temps we were having is ridiculous. I wouldn’t leave my other belongings in my car, why would I leave my equipment? No, instead I have to drive back across town to the hotel and come back. 1 1/2 hours, round trip including the walk back and forth from the car. Tell us ahead of time what we can bring, and what we can’t and I will abide by the rules happily. Make me risk something I saved for 3 years to get, I will NOT be happy.
Hi Ben,
I am curious as to what constitutes as a professional camera. Is a Nikon entry level DSLR with a 3x lens allowed? What about a point-and-shoot Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 12.1 MP with a 12X zoom ? Or any other camera? How are we supposed to know what is ok and what is not ok?

I attended the past 7 years and this year topped them all!! I as well lost my Gold Circle, is there a way to possible get back into the Gold circle section. I am lifetimer for Cma Love it!! Thank you
I used road trip travelers too! It was hard to come up with 2 extra thousand dollars 3 days before I was to leave!!! But the welcome center was very helpful !!! Thank you Nashville !
Just an FYI… RTT has NOT filed anything yet….nothing in court dockets…. Hope they enjoy everyones money maybe they can use it on bail when they go to jail!!!!
ATTENDED 2010 CMA FEST…HAS GREAT 4TH ROW CENTER (C) TICKETS. BOUGHT OUTSIDE STADIUM THOUGH. BUT HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME AM GOING NEXT YEAR,….WOULD LIKE INFO ON 2011 CMA FEST AND TICKETS……TKS MARK
I called the number for the cma fest today to give them my email and the machine said they are closed until July. I know they do not have my email so will my renewal be mailed to me?
Hi Pamela- The 1-800-CMA-FEST (262-3378) number is back operational. I apologize about that hiccup. Please feel free to call now during regular business hours, and we’ll be sure you get the ticket renewal form! Hope you’re doing great!
We have been attending CMA Fest for the past 6 years-3 years ago we got on line at the (then) Entertainment Center at 5:30am to get section C field level seats. We paid $185.00 for renewable tickets. Since then they have upgraded our section to Gold Circle and felt that since they,ve been renamed that they can tack on an additional $140.00 to our renewal price. Very inappropriate and unfair. If CMA wants to upgrade those seats – Sections A,B,C,D & E – it would have been more considerate to repeat attendees to “grandfather” those seats. Even a $50.00 increase would have been OK, charge new purchasers the new price….give us veterans a break since when we purchased them we paid extra for renewable.
Not sure if we can afford the “NEW” price of our “renewable” tickets. We feel a bit betrayed.
Hi all,
I’ve tried emailing and phoning the 1-800-CMA Fest number. I live in canada an the 1-800 number isn’t available from here. How do I contact someone to renew my tickets? I haven’t recieved an email/notice.
Thanks so much for any info and help!
Lisa
This was our first year and had a great time. Unfortunalely the trip cost about $5000 for the 4 nights. I can rent a ski in/out condo in Aspen/Snowmass Colorado for a week and pay all meals travel etc. I won’t go to the fest unless I can get the tickets I want at an offordable price. The ticket sale method will drive Nashville crowd to only the Rich Rich Poeple. I don’t think that is what country music is about. Brokers are making rediculous returns and will keep people from enjoy this event if tickets continue to climb in value. Your system sucks if you had tickets from a broker and can’t renew them. If you pay and set in the seats you should be able to use them again even if baught from a broker. The people actually in the seats should have the rights to renew not the ones buying for resale. Shame on YOU CMA. Don’t ruin such a wonderful event by limiting to the Rich and Richer. After all the Musicians play for free at this event to say thanks to the fans. Please call me anyone who has 4 gold circle seats in sec B or C that can be baught year after year.
I am not renewing, but looking for 4 tickets to the 2011 Festival. Where can I find out more information regarding the 4 day events, lodging, prices and location for next year’s event? Thank you.
Hey country music lovers…..i am looking for two tickets. Would love to surprise my daughter with tickets for her graduation. Also need suggestions on accomodations.
Thanks in advance…
Donna B.
Donna if you find tickets please let me know i am trying to do the same thing and when i called for tickets for 4 there is none cma has nothing so i went to ticket master stb hub ebay craiglist and tickets there are in the 1000 s at that price i cant take her cma needs to stop selling to all the outlet ticket places so people dont have to pay so much for them.if i cant find some we will just have to stay home because i am not going to buy them off the street for the men who stand there all week with tickets that are 3 and 4 time the face value good luck and is youf ind them please please please let me know thank
Hi,
I’m looking for some information regarding how the tickets work. Specifically, are you able to participate in the festivities during the day if you only have a the “single-night concert” ticket for that particular day? Also the seat printed on the ticket, is the seat you have to sit in for that concert, is this correct?
Thanks!
